As I grew up, I called my father "Daddy", "Da" and "Dad," but I never called him the formal name of "Father." He had an incredible vocabulary from many years of reading and working in the insurance industry, and he would appreciate the word "lambasted."
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
Juice of one lime
One clove garlic, mashed and minced
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Blend in a blender and let sauce stand with meat in a glass container for at least half an hour for the flavors to meld. Use to marinate beef or lamb before barbecue, and also splash some on during the grilling!
