Lemon-Tarragon Pork Chops

Zesty lemon and spicy herbs combine in this quick and simple grilled pork chop.

  • 4 pork chops
  • 4 teaspoons olive oil

  • For the Rub:
  • 1 teaspoon dried tarragon, crushed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon zest (zest from 1 medium lemon)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic pepper blend seasoning
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Preheat grill to medium high (400 degrees F). Meanwhile, place the pork on a platter; drizzle with 1/2 teaspoon olive oil on each side. Brush to coat; set aside.

In small bowl, mix together the tarragon, lemon zest, garlic pepper blend, onion powder and salt. Rub about 1 1/2 teaspoons of the mixture over the sides of the pork chops.

Place the pork chops on preheated grill. Close the lid; cook for 4 to 6 minutes per side (depending on thickness of chop) or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.

Serve and garnish with a slice of lemon, if desired.
