People who are afraid of the extreme sweetness of pecan pie will love this elegantly light
pastry for one 9' crust pie
3 large eggs
3/4 cup maple syrup (not pancake syrup)
1/2 cup raw honey
1/3 cup softened butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 tsp salt
1/1/2 cups either coarsely chopped or halved pecans
Light Maple Pecan Pie Recipe at
Beat eggs; add maple syrup, honey, sugar, butter and salt.

Beat until combined. Stir in vanilla. Pour pecans into crust, top with beaten mixture.

Bake at 425 for 15 minutes. Cover edge of crust with foil

to prevent excessive browning and finish at 350 for 25-30

Really loved this recipe. I received compliments from everyone who ate it at Thanksgiving. I have been looking for a pecan pie recipe without corn syrup in it. The flavor of this recipe is much lighter without the corn syrup. Will definitely make it again.
