The current apple of the trendy martini drinker's eye seems to be the "Sour Apple", which was invented some four years ago at Lola's in West Hollywood. "It's all they order," says Lola's beverage buyer Greg Huebner, "and it's not even on the menu." The drink's name also honors the bartender named Adam who came up with the recipe.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup chilled Ketel One vodka
1/4 cup chilled De Kuyper Apple Pucker schnapps
8 ice cubes
Thin apple slice
