Give fish, chicken or pork a tropical spin with this simple salsa starring fresh mangoes and papaya.


  • 2 large mangoes
  • 1 large papaya
  • 1 medium red onion, diced
  • 1 medium jalapeno, finely diced
  • 1/4 bunch cilantro, chopped
  • 1 medium red pepper, diced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lime, juiced


Peel the mango and cut the flesh away from the center seed. Peel the papaya and clean away the black seeds. Dice both into small cubes.

In a bowl, combine the mango, papaya, onion, jalapeno, cilantro and red pepper. Season with cumin, olive oil and fresh lime juice.
