You'll love serving this great dip with some holiday crackers or any time. It is quick and easy to make and a second plate is a good idea to have ready as the first one goes fast!
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
This dip is sure to bring back memories of the seashore.
Ingredients
1 lb lump crab meat-cooked
1/2 lb salad shrimp cut into small bites size pieces
1 package taco seasoning
1 sm package cream cheese
4 oz. sour cream
3 TBSP Old Bay seasoning
3/4 cup cheddar cheese-shredded
DIRECTIONS
Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Set aside about a teaspoon of the mixture. Preheat oven to 400. Blend the sour cream and cream cheese in the blender on low for about 3 minutes or until smooth. Then mix 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese and the seasoning mix into the sour cream/cream cheese mixture.(remember to leave one teasoon of seasoning aside.) Lay pre-cooked lump meat and shrimp size bites in a glass pie plate and sprinkle with the reserved teaspoon of taco/Old Bay mixture. Place in oven for 2-3 min or until warm. Remove and set asside. Layering, do one layer cheese mixture to one layer of crab/shrimp. On every layer of crab sprinkle with a little bit of cheddar cheese. Starting with the cheese mixture and ending with the crab and shrimp. Garnish with remainder of Cheddar cheese.

Easy and yummy!
I tried this for a luncheon appetizer for my card club friends today. I shared the recipe with 6 friends already and plan to enjoy it many more times.
