This can be frozen ahead of time. Thaw before baking. You can also prepare just the sauce ahead of time and freeze if you like. it tastes just as good either way. I think the secret is that you add a little of the crushed tomato liquid to the sauce and ma
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 cup onions, chopped
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 cup onions, chopped
3 1/2 cups (1 lb 12 oz) crushed tomatoes (drain and reserve the liquid; use as needed)
1 clove garlic, minced (or more)
1 TBLS Italian seasoning
10 lasagne noodles
1 large cottage cheese
2 cups shredded mozzerella
1 cup parmesan
1 1/2 teas. salt
1/4 teas. pepper

Saute: ground chuck and chopped onions.

Drain well.

Add tomatoes, garlic, salt and pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Simmer 30 minutes.

Cook noodles according to pkg.

Drain, keep in cold water till ready to use.

1) Place enough sauce to cover bottom of lasagne pan.

2) 5 lasagne noodles

3) cottage cheese

4) sauce

5) 1/2 cup parmesan

6) 1 cup mozzerella

7) 5 lasagne noodles

8) 1 cup cottage cheese

9) rest of sauce

10) 1/2 cup parmesan

11) 1 cup mozerella

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
