Qorma in Delhi is very popular among Muslim folks. It is cooked as a special dish in all festivals, marriages, walimas and special dinners. This recipe will yield the same aroma and flavor which you find
Mutton 1kg
Curd 250 Grams
Onions 250 Grams
Oil/Ghee 200 ML
Ginger Paste 1 teaspoon
Garlic paste 1 teaspoon
Salt 1 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder 1 Teaspoon
Coriander Powder 1 & 1/2 Tablespoon
Green Cardamom 8
Kewra water 1/2 teaspoon
For Qorma Masala
Seeds of 1 black cardamom
Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
15 Corns of black pepper
10 cloves
Slice onions and fry them in a cooker/pan till golden brown.

In the mean time, grind all the spices as mentioned in qorma masala section of ingredients in a coffee grinder and keep it aside.

Take them off from oil and drain aside.

Crush the onions and keep them aside.

In the remaining oil, add mutton, Ginger garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, Qorma Masala curd, crushed onions and cook it on low flame for next 10 minutes stirring it occasionally.

Add 2 cup water in it and cook on low flame for 40-45 minutes.

Once the mutton is cooked, take it off the flame and transfer in a serving bowl.

Sprinkle Kevra water on it and serve with Naan or Khamiri Roti.
