Oriental Casserole

This is just a fun twist on the usual casseroles. My family loves this dish.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 Cup onions chopped
1 cup celery, sliced thin
2 Tbsp. oil
1-1/2 to 2 lbs. ground beef
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 cup instant rice
1 can bean sproouts with liquid
1 small can of water chestnuts, drained & sliced
4 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 small can chow mein noodles
dash of salt & pepper
DIRECTIONS
Heat oil in a large pan, saut'e onion & celery. Add ground beef saut'e until cooked, drain grease. Add soup, rice, bean sprouts, water chestnuts & soy sauce. Pour into casserole dish, cover. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and spinkle with chow mein noodles. Bake uncovered for additional 30 minutes.
