Lite and refreshing salad for a hot summer day.
1 lb bag frozen peas
1 small onion chopped
1/3 c shredded cheddar cheese
4 strips bacon-cooked crisp & crumbled
1/3 c reduced fat mayo or Mircale Whip
1/3 c reduced fat sour cream
1/2 teaspoon dried dill or to taste
splash of milk
Place the peas in collander and rinse with warm water to thaw--do qickly--you dont want to cook them.

Drain. Place in bowl with chopped onion, cheddar cheese--mix lightly.

Take Mayo, sour cream, dill and combine--add a splash of milk to thin a little. Pour over the peas mixture and toss to cover. sprinkle with crumbled bacon.

Serve on a bed of lettuce with biscuits or cornbread.
