Peaches 'n Cream Sherbet

Yields 1 quart
Rich creamy texture and a slightly tangy flavor play off beautifully against the sweet peaches. This almost no-effort sherbet is the perfect low fat answer to hot summer days.
- 2 cups frozen peaches
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cups low fat buttermilk
Place the peaches, sugar and honey in the blender and puree until smooth. With the machine on, add the buttermilk in a steady stream. Chill the mixture for 20 minutes in the refrigerator, then follow the manufacturer's instructions for the ice cream maker.
