pesto shrimp slices

I love this recipe. I made it for the contest but i will do it again because my mom and husband love it too. It can be used as a light meal for 4 with a salad and it is healthy
4 (6inch)pita bread (the type that is flat not the type you fill up)
4tbs olive oil
2c packed fresh basil leaves
1/4 c almonds
1/4 c parmesan
3cloves garlic
1c Daisy sour cream
24 large shrimps, cooked, tails off-about a pound
salt, pepper to taste
2tbs fresh lime juice
1tsp lime zest
1/4cup parmesan cheese, grated
1. turn oven to 350 degrees.

2. on a large cookie sheet, set the pita.

3. brush pita with oil-reserve the rest.Put pita in the oven for 7 minutes.

4. in a bowl combine shrimp, salt, pepper,lime juice and zest. Set aside.

5.In a blender make pesto by combining basil leaves, almonds, parmesan, garlic and rest of the olive oil.

6.Take pita out of the oven and cool.

7. In a small bowl pour pesto, scrapping sides to get it all.

8. Add sour cream to pesto and mix gently.

9.Set oven to broil.

10.Spread pesto on the four pitas. Top each with 6 shrimps placed evenly spaced.

11.Sprinkle parmesan over shrimps.

12 put back in oven just long enough for cheese to melt and get golden, about 5 minutes.

13. Cut each pita into 6 slices with the shrimp atthe center.
