This is my sons' favorate meal. I serve it with lots if mashed potatoes and a side salad for both their birthday. It is a good hearty meal with lots of flavor. The meat seems to be more tender when I start it frozen.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
Large rump roast (frozen)
1 can campbel's tomato soup
1/3 cup Wishbone Italian dessing
1 skinned whole onion
gravy:
granulated beef bullion to taste
1T corn starch
1c water
salt
pepper
DIRECTIONS
put frozen roast into crockpot


add next 3 ingredients


Cook on low or warm for 8 hrs.


Gravy


remove liquid from pot and put into large pan on stove. mix cornstarch with cold water- add to meat liquid -add bullion. Heat to a boil stirring all the time. Gravy should thicken nicely. Add salt/pepper to taste.

Awesome recipe
I was a bit skeptical when I first read the recipe, but needed something quick & easy. I've made this several times now (my meat was not frozen). Everytime the meat has come out perfect, yummy & never dried out. Try it!!
