I was given this recipe from a coworker/friend, it's a cuban dish, when ever I make it everyone loves it and wants the recipe.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 TBSP. OLIVE OIL
1 LB CHOPPED MEAT (BEEF, OR GROUND TURKEY)
1 MEDIUM ONION – CHOPPED
1 SMALL GREEN PEPPER – CHOPPED
1 TBSP. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
1 SMALL CAN OF TOMATO SAUCE
1 CUP RAISINS
3/4 CUP GREEN OLIVES
DIRECTIONS
SAUTE ONION & GREEN PEPPER IN OLIVE OIL UNTIL SOFT. ADD CHOPPED MEAT & BROWN. DRAIN FAT & PUT MEAT BACK IN PAN. ADD VINEGAR & TOMATO SAUCE, MIX AND COOK FOR 1 MINUTE. ADD OLIVES & RAISINS. COOK UNTIL RAISINS PLUMP.


SERVE OVER RICE OR NOODLES.


NOTE: YOU CAN USE A FROZEN BLOCK OF GROUND TURKEY OR BEEF, PUT IT IN THE PAN WITH THE ONIONS AND PEPPERS KEEP TURNING IT AND TAKING OFF THE COOKED PART UNTIL IT IS ALL COOKED.
