Potato Salad in Red Wine Vinegar with Onions

- 8 potatoes peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons chopped dill
- 2 small red (Spanish) onions, sliced
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
Place potatoes in a large saucepan. Cover with water and set over low heat. Bring water to a boil and cook potatoes until tender. Drain. Gently toss with vinegar, dill, and onions. Let cool. Combine the sour cream and the mayonnaise, then seasonto taste with salt and black pepper. Gently fold into potatoes and serve.
