This recipe like most came up as a result of unexpected company. We live in Arizona and grill a lot so we sometimes have left over steak. It is a good way to use it up plus have a "fancy" spread for just a little money.
1 large prime rib steak, cooked to medium rare
1 carton sour cream
4 oz softened cream cheese
1-2 tablespoons (depending on how hot you like it) creamy horseradish
1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh dill
1/2 lemon (medium sized) zest plus juice
Chop cooked steak finely, add other ingredients, blend well, refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight and spread on crackers, toasted baguette pieces or put a dollop in an endive leave
