Provencal Flank Steak

I like the way the honey carmelizes on the grill and adds a bit of crunch, like the burned ends of good barbecue! Sometimes I add red pepper flakes to add another dimension and taste.
1 t. Minced Dried Onion (or substitute garlic)
1 t. Dried Rosemary, crushed
1/2 t. Chili Powder
1/2 t. Paprica
1/2 t. Black Pepper
1/2 c. Honey
3/4 c. Soy Sauce
1/4 c. Water
1/2 c. Red Wine
1 1/2 to 2 lb. Flank Steak
Mix all the ingredients and pour over flank steak in a zip loc bag. Marinate for 1 - 24 hours and grill over hot coals or on preheated stovetop grill pan until med rare. Allow to rest 15 minutes. Cut thin on bias and serve.
