Reggie Roby's Cookies for Kicks

Makes approximately 2 1/2 dozen cookies
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
In a mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients and beat until well mixed. Spoon out 2 tablespoon-size mounds of dough onto the cookie sheet, keeping the mounds about 2 inches apart.
Bake the cookies for 10 to 13 minutes, until lightly browned on the top and bottom. Let cool.
