This recipe is over 65 years old. When my mother cooked roast on Sunday, we ate very little in order to have more left overs for the hash the next day.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1- 3 cups of leftover roast beef diced
1 cup chopped onions
2 cups diced red potatoes
2 cans beef broth
1 cup of water
Leftover gravy, if any.
3-5 Tablespoons Sage
DIRECTIONS
Bring the onions, potatoes, broth and water to boil

When potatoes almost done, add the meat, sage, and leftover gravy, add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve with cornbread for dipping.

If no leftover gravy, add 1 package of commercial brown gravy mix.
