NOT YOUR GRANDMA'S BRUSSEL SPROUTS
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
2 LBS OF BABY BRUSSEL SPROUTS OR MEDIUM SIZED CUT IN HALF
1 SMALL SHALLOT OR 1 SMALL SWEET ONION
2 TBS OLIVE OIL
1/4 CUP LITE SOY SAUCE
1 TSP BALSAMIC, CHAMPAGNE, APPLE CIDER, OR RED WINE VINEGAR
1 CLOVE FRESH GARLIC
1 TSP OREGANO DRIED, OR 1 BUNCH FRESH CHOPPED
1/2 TSP DRIED BASIL OR 1 BUNCH FRESH CHOPPED
LOTS OF FRESH PARSLEY
SEA SALT
FRESH GROUND PEPPER
PARMESAN CHEESE GROUND FOR SERVING
RED PEPPER FLAKES
DIRECTIONS
PREHEAT OVEN 375 DEGREES, SPRAY A SHALLOW GLASS PAN WITH PAM. CUT BRUSSEL SPROUTS IN HALF. MIX ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT THE BRUSSEL SPROUTS WELL. THEN TOSS IN THE BRUSSEL SPROUTS AND MIX AGAIN. ADD PARSLEY LAST


SPRINKLE IN SOME RED PEPPER FLAKES BEFORE ROASTING


PUT IN SHALLOW PAN AND INTO OVEN FOR APPX 20 MINS UNCOVERED AND TOSS THEM AROUND. CAN COVER WITH FOIL AND LET THEM STEAM A LITTLE MORE AND THEN BROIL TO BROWN, DON'T WANT THEM TO BURN OR THEY WILL BE BITTER.


CAN ALSO TOP WITH PARMESAN CHEESE WHEN TAKE OUT OF OVEN TO SERVE

Terrific Recipe!
Terrific recipe. Better if you take the steps to steam and broil at the end. I have also tried adding bacon and fresh corn for crunch!
