rooster's roast beef sandwiches

RECIPE INGREDIENTS
one 4-5 qrt crock pot
4-5 lbs beef chuck roast boneless
One can of beef consomme
8 oz water
1 oz package of au jus mix (powder)
1 heeping tsp, ready to use minced garlic
La choy soy sauce, 1/4cup
big buns, 4 1/2 to 5 inch
kosher or dill pickel
DIRECTIONS
put roast into crock pot


mix together in a 16oz container beef consomme,


au jus mix


minced garlic


and 8oz of water


pour over beef and cook for about 8-10 hours (slow).


remove beef, shred with 2 forks and remove excess fat


pour liquid from crock pot through a strainer


remove as much fat from the top of the juice.


If time permitting put in refrigerator and the fat will solidify.


put shredded meat back into crockpot


mix 1/4 cup of soy sauce with the juice


pour over meat and mix and reheat for about another hour.


1 cup of beef is about 10-12 0z


also use juice for dipping.
