Sandy's Kilbasa and Kale Soup

My boyfriends mom made this one day and it was delicious! I added the mushrooms when I made it at my house one day and really liked it!
6 cups water
8 chicken bouillon
6 potatoes (fist size)
1 lb Kilbasa
10-12 kale leaves (chopped)
1 lb mushrooms
1 cup milk or half and half
Cut sausage into either "wheels" or half "wheels"

Peel potatoes if you want(the peels do come off as the potatoes cook)

Pour water and chicken bullion along with cut sausage and potatoes into a large soup pot and let boil/cook for about 12 minutes

After 12 minutes “mash” potatoes(using a potato masher)

Add kale and mushrooms and let sit for a few minutes

Add black pepper to taste

Right before serving add milk or half and half
