Sausage and Potato dinner

as far as the milk and water mixture, you need enough to cover the potatoes and sausage you may need more then 1 cup each. This is a old family time great grandma fram growin up on of type cookin.
2 pounds of ground pork sausage
2 large eggs
1 cup oatmeal either fast cooking or slow cooking
1 teaspoon salt.1/2 teasppon pepper
1/4 teasppon chile flakes if disired
3 to 4 pounds russet potatos
3 cups mexican style corn cooked in a med size pan set aside
1 cup milk 1 cup water set aside
note you may need more, The potato and sausage patties must be just covered.
in a large bowl mix together the first 5 ingredients

make the sausage mixture into 10 patties

heat a 12 inch fry pan on med heat.

add 2 tablesspoons of olive oil to the pan.

cook patties untill done, careful not to burn them and set aside.

leave oil in skillet add all potatos and cook just untill brown. Add the sausage patties to the skillet and cover with 1 cup milk and 1 cup water, you may need more just to cover the potatoe and sausage cover leaving a vent so it doenst overboil, cook untill the potatoes are tender about 20 to 30 minutes.

serve it with mexican style corn
