Sausage Stuffing

This dressing will have your guests asking for the recipe.
1 lb sausage
2 box Mrs. Cubbison's seasoned cornbread mix- 4 bags total.
1/2 loaf soft white bread. Chopped to sugar cube size.
2 stalks celery diced
1 large onion diced.
I small can waterchestnuts -drained and chopped
1 cup chopped pecans
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 quart warm chicken broth
4 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook sausage, add onions and celery when sausage is nearly done. Saute

Beat two eggs and mix with milk.

In large bowl combine 4 bags of dressing mix and white bread Sausage, onions, celery, water chestnuts, pecans.

Add eggs and milk, toss. Add 4 tbsp of butter. Pour chicken broth a cup at a time into mixture on top of butter so it melts. Continue to mix until mixture is moist but not too wet.

Line turkey with cheese cloth, add stuffing and bake your turkey as directed. When the turkey is done remove the dressing my gently pulling on cheesecloth.
