Seafood soup with corn

this is an easy weeknight summer dish, i called it soup but its more of a cioppino like dish
1 cup fresh corn cut off cob
6-8 large shrimp in shell
1/2 llb firm white fish cut into large cubes(i like chilean sea basss)
1.2 doz littleneck clams
chopped scallions (2)
3-4 cloves garlic minced
cilantro leaves
1/4 cup coconut milk
salt and pepper to taste (i prefer indian green chilis)
saute garlic and scallions in 3 tablespoons olive oil

add fish shrimp and saute lightly for 1 minute and then take out and set aside

add corn, coconut milk and 1/2 cup water

let simmer for about 15 minutes, add more water if becomes too thick

add back in the fish and let simmer another 5mins

add back shrimp and clams, cook until clams open

take off heat immediately to avoid overcooking and add seveal chopped cilantro leaves

this can be eaten as a nmain course over rice
