Spanish Appetizer, luscious with fresh Figs and Serrano and Manchego on a toasted Bruschetta focaccia
“Serrano Spanish Ham, Fresh Fig
And Manchego Bruschetta”
12 Appetizer servings
1 cup DAISY sour cream
4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 loaf focaccia bread, halved horizontally you need 12 “for 12 appetizers, reserve remaining bread for other use.
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 garlic clove, peeled and halved
1 cup baby arugula
2 oz very thin sliced or shaved Serrano Spanish ham
2 oz Manchego cheese, shaved
8 fresh figs cut into thin slices

In a small bowl stir sour cream and mustard to a smooth mixture.

Preheat broiler. Place 1 half focaccia bread about 12 “long) cut side up, on a baking sheet. Brush bread with olive oil. Toast bread in broiler until top is golden brown, watching closely to avoid burning, about 2 minutes. Immediately rub cut side of bread all over with halved garlic

Spread sour cream-mustard mixture over bread. Divide evenly baby arugula and shaved Serrano ham over bread .Top evenly with shaved cheese and fig slices
