SHRIMP ORLEAN SOUP
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
2 LB SHRIMP PEALED AND CLEANED
2 CANS CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP
2 MED. ONION DICED
2 TOES OF GARLIC MINCED
2 TABLESPOONS KETCHUP
1 8 OZ CONTAINER OF SOUR CREAM
1/4 C CHOPPED CELERY
1 TSP GARLIC POWDER
1 STICK OF BUTTER (REAL)
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE (CAN ALSO ADD RED PEPPER FLAKES)
DIRECTIONS
MELT BUTTER IN DEEP SKILLET, ADD ONION, CELERY AND GARLIC. COOK UNTIL ONION CLEAR. ADD SHRIMP, STIR UNTIL TURNING PINK. ADD CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP, SOUR CREAM AND KETCHUP. STIR UNTIL MIXED (SAUCE WILL BE PINKISH COLOR) ADD GARLIC POWDER, SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE. SIMMER FOR 30 MIN SERVE WITH RICE OR PASTA.


IF TOO THICK ADD SMALL AMOUNT OF WATER OR CHICKEN BROTH TO THIN OUT TO YOUR LIKING.
