Smokey Salmon Summer Sizzle

1 fillet of Salmon (skin or skinless)
1/4 c Soy Sauce
1/4 c Brown Sugar
1/4 c fresh chopped chives
1/4 tsp corse ground black pepper
4 c Apple wood chips, soaked.
Mix marinade ingredients until brown sugar is disolved. Put fillet of salmon and marinade in air tight container or plastic baggie. Place fillet and marinade in refrigerator four hours or overnight for more flavor.

Soak apple wood chips while you prepare a medium charcoal fire to one side of the grill. When coals are ready drain water from apple wood chips and place wood chips on top of hot coals. Drain marinade from salmon fillet and place skin side down (any side if skinless) on side of grill without the charcoal. Cover and let cook until wood chips stop smoking. Check to see if the fillet is cooked through. Enjoy!
