Soy-Garlic Glazed Salmon

Try this at for your next dinner party and you’ll impress with very little effort. The plate presentation is beautiful and the sweet and savory glaze perfectly complements the buttery salmon.


  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, plus thin lemon slices for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Four 6-ounce salmon fillets, skinned


In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, lemon juice, honey and garlic. Pour the marinade into a nonreactive glass dish. Add the salmon and turn to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Preheat the broiler, placing the grate about 4 to 6 inches under the flame.

Oil a sheet pan and place the salmon on the pan, skinned-side down, under the broiler. Reserve the marinade. Broil for about 8 minutes or until just cooked through.

Pour the marinade into a small nonstick sauté pan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce for one minute then set aside.

Drizzle salmon with reduced sauce, garnish with lemon slices and serve.
