One of our families favorite comfort foods. My mom actually would make this recipe with a tripod over a campfire when we were kids. We all still love it.
1 lb ground beef
2 large onions (chopped)
28 oz whole tomatoes (include juice)
8 oz tomato sauce
6 oz tomato paste
12 oz whole kernel corn (include juice)
2 c bisquick
2/3 c milk
Brown and drain ground beef, place in stew pot, add onions and cook a bit, then add tomatoes, sauce, paste and corn.

Bring stew to a boil.

Mix bisquick (or equivalent) and milk with a fork and drop in small amounts onto boiling stew to form dumplings. Drop heat to medium and cook uncovered for 10 minutes than cook covered for another 10 minutes .

A good winter meal
I would change the ground beef for cubed beef and pork and cook in a dutch oven.
