RECIPE INGREDIENTS
6 loin pork chops (1 inch thick with pocket slits)
2 granny smith apples
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 large can of niblet corn
½ cup cranberries
½ cup chicken broth
Stove Top Pork or Cornbread Stuffing mix
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
DIRECTIONS
Cut up the apples into small enough pieces and sauté in butter. Add cinnamon and cranberries and cook for 5 minutes. Add can of corn (drained of water), along with the stuffing mix and cook according to directions on box. When done remove and cool in bowl. Season pork chops with salt, pepper and garlic powder. In frying pan, brown pork chops on both sides and remove and drain. Placing pork chops in baking pan, stuff each pork chop with stuffing mix and secure slits using metal toothpicks or butcher twine. Add the remaining stuffing mix to pan, add ½ cup of chicken broth, cover and bake at 375º for 30 minutes.
