Tangy Berry Grill Cake
This amazing dessert sings with the flavors of sweet berries and tangy buttermilk. The best part is it can be made on the grill, giving it special presentation points for guests!
- 1 1/4 cups baking mix
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups raspberries
- 1/4 cup course or raw sugar
Heat gas or charcoal grill.
Combine baking mix, sugar, buttermilk and vanilla in a medium bowl; beat for 30 seconds.
In 9-inch round foil cake pan, melt butter on grill. Pour batter over butter in pan. Top with berries.
Sprinkle with 1/4 cup course sugar.
Cover grill; cook about 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
