Thanksgiving Punch

  • 2 pints cranberry juice
  • 2 pints orange juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon mixed spice, such as cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves or allspice
  • Sugar, to taste
  • To Decorate:
  • Kumquats, sliced
  • Frosted cranberries
  • Mint sprigs


Place the juices, water and spices in a saucepan and bring gently to the boil, stirring in sugar to taste. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Pour into punch cups and float kumquat slices on top and decorate with frosted cranberries and mint on cocktail sticks. You can also serve this drink chilled for a summer party.
