The Best Ever Lasagna

I made this recipe up from what i had in my refigerator, but it is now a favorite.
1 box Barilla Oven Ready Lasagna Noodles
1 package mixed shredded cheese (I prefer cheddar/jack)
8oz package of cream cheese
1 eggs
3/4 jar spagetti sauce
1 green bell pepper
1 small onion
bag of baby carrots
1 large fresh tomato
1 pound ground meat (turkey,beef,or venison)
Pre-heat oven to 375

Line a 8 in. casserole dish with foil and spray with olive oil

Set cream cheese out

In a pot on the stove set sauce to low/medium and cut up 1/2 cup of baby carrots and add them to simmering sauce.

Also cut a few slices of fresh tomato and add them to sauce.

Suatee bell pepper and onion in a pan with olive oil. Add ground meat and brown.

In a small bowl combine half of cream cheese, 1/2 cup of shredded cheese and egg. Mix throughly with fork.

In casserole dish spread a small amount of sauce (enough to keep noodles from sticking).

Place 2 flat noodles side by side in the bottom of the pan

spread half of Cream cheese/cheese/egg mixture on the noodles.

Next layer half of meat mixture.

Next pour half of sauce on top.

Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.

Repeat next layer as the same starting with the noodles.

On top of the last layer of noodles, layer rest of sliced tomatoes and sprinkle with remain bit of shredded cheese.

Place a piece of foil on top and cook in the oven for 45 mins. removing foil last 10.
