This recipe comes from my friend and favorite chef, Justin. They are a perfect crispiness, with a nice buttery flavor.
1 cup shortening
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets.

2. Mix the shortening, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually stir into the mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.

3. Bake 8-10 minutes until light brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before removing to cool completely.

The Bomb Chocolate Chip Cookies
These are so good. I used 1 cup of regular chocolate chips and 1 cup of mini chocolate chips. I took them out of the oven when they were still a little soft in the center. Great flavor!
