THREE BEAN BAKE

Easy to prepare and a favorite at picnics, parties or work luncheons.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
2 cans (28 oz. ea.) B&M Baked Beans (do not drain) *
2 cans (15 oz. ea.) kidney beans, well drained
2 cans (15 oz. ea.) white beans, well drained *
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. bacon *
1 large onion, chopped
2 cups ketchup
3 T prepared yellow mustard (rounded tablespoons)
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. salt (optional)
Notes:
* Baked Beans:  Other brands are OK; but, B&M are best.
* White Beans:  any may be used; Great Northern, cannellini, navy, butter beans--your preference.
* Bacon:  I only use 1/2 lb. now; healthier and still taste's great.
DIRECTIONS
Brown hamburger, set aside. Brown bacon, crumble and set aside. Mix all ingredients together. Can be cooked on top of the stove, baked in the oven or cooked in a slow-cooker (I prefer slow-cooker on high for approx. 4 hours).
