Tofu Butter Masala

2 cups Tofu cubed
1 cup Onions sliced
2 teaspoon Garlic paste
2 teaspoon Ginger paste
1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chili powder
2 teaspoon Kasuri methi
2 teaspoon Coriander powder
½ teaspoon Cardamom powder
1teaspoon Red chili powder
1 cup Tomato chopped
2 teaspoon Tomato ketchup
2 stick Cinnamon
3 Cloves
-½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
2 tablespoon Cashew nut paste
3 tablespoon Edible oil
½ teaspoon Sugar
-¼ cup Fresh cream
1 tablespoon Butter
Salt to taste
Heat oil in a non-sticky pan and add cinnamon and cloves. Sauté it for half a minute. Then add sliced onions, salt and sauté till onions become golden brown.

Add ginger paste, garlic paste and Kashmiri red chili powder to it. Sauté for another one minute. Add chopped tomato, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cardamom powder, cashew nut paste and mix very well.

Add 2 tablespoons of water and cook on medium flame for ten to twelve minutes. Keep this mixture a side to bring it at room temperature. After cooling grind it and make it a smooth paste.

Heat butter in a pan and add onion tomato mixture in it. Cook for two-three minutes. Add little salt, tomato ketchup, ½ teaspoon sugar and mix it very well. Add tofu in it and again mix it well.

Then cook for two to three minutes. Sprinkle Kasuri methi, cover with lid and cook for one minute. Remove from flame and add fresh cream and mix well.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and little cream to serve hot with paratha, naan or rice.
