  Makes 3 cups
1 cup milk
1 cup heavy cream
2 egg yolks
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract or seeds from 1 vanilla pod
Combine the milk and cream in a saucepan and bring to boiling point. Remove from heat and add the vanilla.

Whisk together the egg yolks and sugar. Gradually whisk in the milk mixture. Return the mixture to a saucepan and cook over low heat for about 5-7 minutes, whisking gently, until the mixture thickens. Let cool before freezing in an ice cream machine, according to manufacturer's instructions.

Serving Size = 1/2 cup

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!
First of all to be honest i am only 15. but that doesnt stop me from cooking. i love cooking and the first time i tried this it didnt come out good. but when i tried it again it was delicious. plus im an awesome cook so my food has to come out right or i keep doing it over and over until i get it right.
