Total Time:  1 Hour
My Grandmother invented this one on wash day when there was only a wood stove. She would put it all together in the big pot she cooked the noodles in and leave it . If it got too dry she would add in some of the water heating for the wash!
1 pkg. extra wide egg noodles
1/2 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pkg. sausage links
1 can red kidney beans
1 can stewed tomatoes
salt to taste
Cook sausages, set aside.

Using the grease in pan, saute onions to transparent.

Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds or so.

Add beans and tomatoes, salt fairly heavily.

Return sausages to pan.

Simmer for 30 min. minimum, more is better.

Sauce will reduce a bit.

Cook egg noodles according to directions on package.

Drain noodles, put them in a big bowl and add the sauce.

Stir it all up and serve with warm rolls, maybe a salad.

Easily doubles.

Reheats well.
