  9 servings
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups cranberries rinsed and stems removed
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons butter, melted
Sauce ingrediants
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups half & half
sift first 4 ingrediants

add cranberries & mix to coat

add milk and melted butter

mix just to moisten

pour into 8" or 9" buttered and floured cake pan

bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour


melt butter,add sugar,then half and half

bring to a boil and boil 10 minutes stirring constantly

to serve

cut a square of pudding and cover with hot sauce-Yummy

Special Holiday Treat
My family has served this every Christmas Holiday for many generations. We brought the recipe west to Iowa and Minnesota from New England, through the Erie Canal, to Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota. It is the americanizatiom of "English Christmas Pudding."
