DIRECTIONS
Put oil in a saucepan with onion flakes and garlic granules and cook gently for 2-3 minutes to brown lightly - do not allow to burn. Add remaining ingredients, mixing the brown sugar with the mustard to break up lumps before adding to the pan. Bring to a simmer and simmer gently, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool and store in a sealed jar in refrigerator for up to 1 month. Use as a sauce or baste for beef, burgers, sausages and meat loaf, or as directed in recipes. It is excellent for beef or pork ribs.
