Its quicker to get this streamline version of a madoline then the large one I had purchased from a nother maker which was big and bulky and I didnt have a straight blade it was the v shapped blade. I really prefer the ease and comfort of this one and will continue to order till they offer replacement blades for them.

I've never owned a mandoline slicer. Am I very glad that I got one. Slices very thin both directions. I'm very happy with this purchase.
