Larger than we anticipated but, did not see a smaller roaster with rack.

Not happy

I purchased this roaster as a gift to my daughter. I was recently visiting her and as always we enjoy cooking together. I went for the roaster to prepare the roast and I was so disappointed. The condition of the roaster was terrible after my daughter used it 3 times. The surface is impossible to clean leaving burnt marks and scratches. The vegetables burn at the surface...Terrible roaster and embarrassed to have given as a gift.

It's a roasting pan! It does what it's supposed to do and is easy to clean.

Finish

Inside and out side finish not very strong Inside does not clean up as well as i thought. Also used just this Thanksgiving, and out side has scatches on ends. Not very serviceable.

Well worth the money!! It's hard finding a roasting pan that is broiler safe, but this one does the trick and clean up is a breeze.

Have only used it one time since recieving it but already I can tell that I will be useing it for every thing. Clean up is an absolute breeze.

Disappointing purchase

If this pan had not been so large and cumbersome, I would have returned it. I wish you had stated up front that it did not come with a lid. I am of the generation that bought good products and did not feel cheated by the price - in all honesty I feel a bit duped - why make a pan without a lid? This roaster has multiple uses such as braising - but how can I braise without a lid? I cannot afford to have one pot that serves one purpose only. That makes no sense. I even phoned the company that makes this and sure enough it was not designed with a cover in mind. What were you all thinking anyway? I'm sure Rachael can own multiple things that serve one purpose - unfortunately I cannot. Other than that it appears to be a good pan.

I really like the easy clean-up (actually my husband like the easy clean-up). We live in a small apartment, with a 24" range. When I tried to put it in the oven it wouldn't fit, width wize or length wize (I was devastated!!!) So, I sat down and said what am I going to do. I then received a divine intervention. I can fit it in at an angle. Yeah!!!!! Can this be used on stove top, when I use the drippings from a roast to make gravy??

I had a roaster with a rack that I purchased in a discount store. The first time I used it, cooking a pork roast, the non-stick material on the bottom of the pan broke apart. It didn't affect the roast, but naturally I could not use the juices for any gravy. Major disappointment. When I informed the company (Kithen-Aid), I was told to box the roaster up, pay for postage to mail it back and include a check for $18.00 to cover postage for a new pan, which I did not. I threw the pan in the trash. But, I had an absolutely fabulous pork roast this past Sunday with my new RR roaster, with delicious gravy. I am sure I will be a return customer. Thank you Rach.
