I always drop pieces of onion, celery, or any chopped item as I have arthritis in my hands. This utensil really helps all the food get where I want it. Most of the time, I cook for more than just my family, so I have to make a lot of food. I sometimes wish there was an even bigger bench scrape to save even more time transferring food from place to place. The ridges on the handle insure no slipping even with wet hands and the raised edges keep food from falling off the sides. It's easy to clean and stores neatly in the drawer. Thanks for a great product.

The rubber(?) gasket on the bottom is good to keep noise free and non-skid but I don't think is is sanitary in everyday usage. Moisture could collect under it and cause germs and mold to accumulate. I removed the gasket and it is the perfect replacement for my melamine 'Texas' bowl that was broken. Love it, love it, love it!

We were using a mixing bowl and we were dumping just too many times but this bowl is wide and deep so it hold a lot. My husband also loves, loves the bench scraper; it picks up diced and sliced products wonderfully. Thanks Rachel!
