I was so pleased with the Caldero I purchased, that I bought another as a gift for my bachelor son. It is an all purpose "pot" if there ever was one. Saute, fry, stew...you name it ... you can do it in the caldero and the clean up is sooo easy.

Thought I have not had this Caldero very long I'm loving it. So far it has lived up to my expectations. Would most certainly recommend it to any cook beginner or not and have.

After reading a review of this pan in a magazine, I realized how perfect it would be for an egg puff (AKA "Dutch baby") recipe I'd recently found. It's a beautiful piece of cookwear, and even though red isn't one of my usual colors, it's a nice bit of unexpected brightness that's fun to see, especially in the morning!
