Lids sometimes do not seal

At first I loved these lids. I used the smallest lid and it sealed really well! The medium lid seals sometimes but the medium lid wiil curve on the outside and therefore you don't always get a great seal. I washed all of lids by hand before using and laid them out flat to dry. The largest lid dried with high curves all along the outside rim. I tried to weigh it down to flatten and it would not lay flat. I tried immerging in water and then tried to seal to pot and would not seal because of the curves.

Works Well

Was a bit worried, but these work great. Bought a set for me and a set for my daughter.

I like the product.

The product works through suction. However, I tried one of the lids on a plastic bowl with a crack on the rim. But, the lid couldn't form a seal, so it didn't work in this case. (Kind of obvious i guess). I tried another one of the lids on a glass bowl that I kept in the fridge. When I took the bowl out of the fridge, condensation started to form. This created a slippery surface, which prevented a seal from forming. The lid didn't in this case either. I tried one of the lids on a dry glass bowl, and the small lid on a dry ceramic bowl. A seal was formed in both cases. I could also pick each bowl up by the tab on the lid. I was impressed.

Good Idea

for those bowls you have and no lids, these are a must! I have'nt tried yet, but I know they're going to be handy. Made of silicone, I believe they are going to work GREAT!!!!! I have bought ALOT of Rachael products and have nothing but good things to say about them!

These lids come in 3 sizes and provide a lid for everything that you don't have a lid to fit. The suction is amazing.

Silicone top lid set

Disappointed that the lids don't "suck" onto a bowl as well as "advertised". When in the microwave I have had "splatter" on the walls from pasta sauce coming out of the bowl???? Otherwise, I think they will work well with cold items. Again, disappointed in how they work in a microwave. I may use them as Frisbees for the dogs.

No instructions

Extremely disappointed. Didn't know what to do with the tops - just sit them on top of a bowl or something. Didn't see what they would be good for except as a cover that just sits on top and that's it. Wouldn't want to carry it across the room, microwave or store. So sorry - sure wasn't what I was expecting.

These lids are great. Seals dish but just peels off. People are amazed when they see them work.

Lids have great seal. This is my 2nd set and I use them constantly. Saves money on other wrap materials. They hug bowls tightly, they are great. I'm getting used of purple, they add of bit of easter-egg whimsey to my kitchen with vigbrant purple. these will not disappoint. I hope rachael makes them in squares & ovals.

Terrific!

This is the second set I have ordered of these lids. They are terrific! I use them all the time. No more plastic wrap or foil. Just pop them on and get a gret seal! I also use them to keep foods warm on the table and I have also used them to cover skillets while cooking. I love them! Very very handy.
