I recently purchased one of these lids at a local department store and found out how handy these lids are for "topping" any bowl. Then heard that I could get 3 of these lids in various color options and different sizes online through Rachaels' site by a friend... Since I received these three lids, I have used them at least three to four times a day... in the mircrowave, on the stove top, in the frig, and to keep things hot while preparing other foods. Most of all. they keep the food from exploding in the microwave.. which even when I used plastic wrap it would still do that! LOVE LOVE these.. have purchased five sets for gifts and they are a WOW present! And inexpensive! Easy to wash too!

I've only used the smaller cover for a bowl which I stored inthe fridge. As soon as it touched the rim it was on tight, as if it had created suction. It slid off easily, as well as pulling easily from the edge of it. I'm not sure how this works but it grips nearly everything it touches. It is a great find. I am going to go back and try to find smaller ones to fit cereal bowls and smaller glass bowls.

Though the smallest lid would probably be nice, however, the larger ones would NOT be used, so I can not just have them sit and take up space. Therefore, I sent them back. I would have preferred to have a lid that was somewhat rigid with a lip to go over the bowl, so I just mailed them back. They also seemed a bit pricy as well.

These lids are great! I keep finding more and more uses for them! I am going to order another set for myself and one for a friend. I got them for both of my daughters and another friend and they love them too! Great addition to my kitchen and they take up very little room!
