Party traveler is too small for cakes

I ordered this party traveler to transport cakes. However, the party traveler is too short (with the cover on) for the two layer 9 inch cake that I made. I think it would also be too short for an angel food cake and a standard bundt cake.

This is a really good product but I wish that the top was taller. I made deviled eggs for the July 4th cookout and although the carrier handled all of them, guest had difficulty getting them out because the holes were a little large for your average large egg. However they were easily removed with a spoon but not very pretty.

The only issue i have with this product is that i feel the fasteners are on the weak side.

I bought this for a gift for my daughter. I have considered getting one for myself. Based on her opinion, I might purchase another.

height is questionable

I haven't used the carrier yet, and I'm sure it is fine for most of the uses as advertised, but I can't see how it is tall enough to carry a cake. We'll see!
