This bowl looks so pretty and sturdy on TV, but in actuality is quite the opposite. I was so excited when I ordered it, but was quite disappointed when I took it out of the box. I woudn't recommend to anyone. Way too expensive for the quality of the merchandise. It's a shame.
I thought it was a little overpriced for a plastic bowl.
When I ordered this bowl, I thought it was the size I have seen on the cooking show by Rachel Ray - which is why I ordered it. It is quite a bit smaller, necessitating emptying it a great many more times while preparing the meal - otherwise it overflows onto the counter.

Have been wanting this garbage bowl for several years. Finally purchased it (I don't know why I waited so long!) I love it! My only complaint is that it is too pretty to used just for food scraps! It looks lovely on display with citrus and/or vegetables in it. Love it, love it, love it!
I really like this bowl and am happy I bought it. I'd hesitated to buy it in the past because I didn't like the idea of paying this much for a bowl for kitchen sink garbage. I think it's a little expensive for what it is but I get a lot of use from it. It also frees up my kitchen mixing bowls which I used to use for this purpose. So when I think about these factors it is a good value. I don't like the splatter pattern much but the bowl is sturdy and should last a long time.
Gave these to the same people for Christmas. Gave my sister one. She wanted the bowl but would not purchase it for herself. I also had to keep one for myself. I never though I would like or use it but, I have enjoyed it very much. Great product!
I bought this as a gift for my sister in law, as it is what she asked for, and it does it's job of being a big bowl..well. Which is pretty much my point, you can use any big bowl in the same manner and save the money for more important things you need in the kitchen since you'll just throw it in the dishwasher anyway to clean it. If it's just me, and I'm not entertaining, then I'll just use a grocery bag or two so i can tie off the top and throw it in the outside can and not stink up the house. It is a thick, hearty bowl and it has a non-slip rubber ring underneath to keep it in place, the "fennel" color is very nice and helps tone down the flakes of color that make it look rather cheap compared to a polished stainless bowl. If you're just really needing this to finish your Rachel Ray collection then you won't be disappointed, otherwise just save your money.
