Percolator

I love this little coffee pot, it's just the right size. Only problem is the handle - if there was some type of coating or something to keep it cool, it would be a great help. I often forget that it's hot and try and pick it up. Other than this, it's great.

No Electricity - No Coffee

Living on the Gulf Coast in Texas, we experienced Hurricane Ike and all his glory this season. Without electricity for many days, there was no coffee. The new percolator purchase will now provide coffee during outages via my gas stove! I am pleased with the overall appearance and actually purchased two - one for myself and one for my sister for Christmas. It makes a great decorating accessory and will be most beneficial when an emergency arises. Very pleased with service, delivery and the product itself.

I LOVE my new coffeepot, using it reminds me of being in my grandmother's kitchen in the mornings. The only thing that bothers me is that the handle gets REALLY hot! Other than that, it is totally awesome!!

Looked everywhere for this coffee pot

We have been looking for this since Christmas 2008 and finally found it on the food network shopping area. Received it in a timely manner. The packaging kept it in great shape and everything was there. We have used it since receiving it and love it. The only thing I can think of to make it better would be to have a wooden handle so that it would be heat resistant. Thanks.

No Glass Knob on Lid

I actually returned this when I realised how small the coffee pot was compared to what I had visualized. The final decision maker to return the percolator was when I became aware of the fact that there was no glass knob on top of the lid. I always knew my coffee was starting to brew when you could actually see the coffee starting to percolate in that glass knob.I don't believe this is the percolator for me. I don't want a huge boiled over mess on my stove top.

Not Good

This percolator was a big let down. It was cute looking, but does NOT make even decent coffee, more like steamed coffee bean water. I was very disappointed and tried to convince myself that this was my mistake; however, I tried again, and got the same results, brown water. I returned the product the next day.

I have been searching for an old-fashioned percolator like this for awhile. I purchased it as a gift for my mother. She loves it ! I purchased the blue percolator, and it looks better than its pictured. Very pretty! Also, very solid and sturdy. Not flimsy like some other percolators out there.

Love It !

My mother wanted a small percolator coffee pot and I found this one on Paula Deen. After reading other reviews I decided to order 2 of them along with coffee. My brother came by mother's and he wanted her coffee pot for his camper, so I had to order another one for mother. (They are all red)We all LOVE our coffee pots. Be sure to wet the basket before adding the grinds,like the directions say, it makes a big difference.

Red Percolator

I love finding a percolator. I just wish it had the clear cap in the top so you can see how strong the coffee is getting. It only took me a couple of times to get it perfect, so that is just a suggestion, not a complaint. Our biggest complaint with our other coffee maker is that the coffee is never hot enough. You can’t say that with this percolator, it’s perfect for the simple hot cup of coffee. I’m thrilled with our purchase.

FUNCTION

The coffee pot is good looking. However the handle gets hot and makes it impossible to handle w/o a pot holder. Makes mornings a little rougher than they need to be.

I love this pot! I have always used a stovetop percolator, but this one is so gorgeous! The color is beautiful and the bottom doesn't burn..

blast from the past

Bought this to use when the electricity goes out. I made a pot of coffee and then pushed the Kitchen-Aid drip coffeemaker to the back of the cabinet. Smelling brewed coffee takes me back to my years as a young bride before automatic drip coffeemakers. That wonderful smell wafting through the house is so nosatalgic and I think the coffee has a much better flavor. I think this is one time when the good old days are truly recaptured and for the better. I highly recommend this pot. It also looks really good on my stainless steel stovetop!

I love it, it's beautiful as well as durable. It will be used a lot since I love coffee and It can also go camping with me.

Great little Percolator

Good coffee pot

I really like this pot. It is good for brewing or just to put somewhere to look at. It brings back memories. One small thing I would change I would have a glass perk top.

I realized from the photo what I was getting - but I was hoping for something just a little better. For example, I feel that a good percolator should have a glass on top through which to see the coffee color as it perks. I could have purchased the same thing for less at our local camping goods store.

love the color,but would think for price that they would do handle,and lid a little different,still i like pot and am using every day,
