Easy to use and strong enough to take pressure (I broke a plastic one I had earlier) and very easy to clean. Great product and the price is great.

The best garlic press I've ever owned

This garlic press is very easy to squeeze and very easy to clean. That it will mince ginger too is great. I would highly recommend it.

Garlic press

Ease of use you do not need to use a lot of pressure. Stainless steel will not rust. Also easier to use.

Worth the money

I had given up trying to find a garlic press I could use due to arthritis in my hands and very weak wrists. I had already purchased 3 this year and given them all away. This one is absolutely the best! Squeezes with no effort and opens up for easy cleaning. I highly recommend it!

love garlic

This item was recommended by " Cooks Illustrated" mag. and I tend to follow their suggestions. This tool does a good job of pressing garlic and the best part is how easy it is to clean.

Good value if you use a lot of garlic

This is a real time saver if you cook with garlic often. You don't have to peel the garlic; just pop in the clove and squeeze. Also very easy to clean.

It's ok

I bought this as ATK recommended. Price was ok. I think this is fine but I liked the OXO better. (Oxo did break though as I had to buy another)

I am having arthritis problems so the garlic press I had was too hard for me to use. This is one is not the "be all, end all" but it is easier to use than the other Kuhn Rikon I had. I was able to squeeze out two cloves but had to have my husband do the third one I needed. I am hoping the plastic press wll hold up. I told my hubby not to squeeze as hard because I was concerned.

Very easy to clean. You have to be careful to not squeeze the press so hard that the garlic misses the pan and squirts out on the counter.

Too Expensive

Although the garlic press is really a nice unit, and easy to clean, I don't feel that it is worth the price I paid for it. Not real fond of the color either although it sure is easy to find in the drawer.

Who'd'a thunk?

Who'd'a thunk one garlic press could be so different from another? Now that I have the Kuhn Rikon, I can never go back to the garlic presses I bought in the supermarket. This thing pulverizes cloves and gets the most out of them, and then is a cinch to clean. I love it!

This is the ultimate garlic press! Extremely easy to use, every bit of the garlic clove presses through the holes and it is VERY easy to clean. Great design!

Best Garlic Press

I ordered this garlic press after owning several different models that were less than adequate. So usually I used a knife. However, I wanted a quicker way - as well as the smaller mince. I chose this model because of its rating by America's Test Kitchen and I love it! This garlic press is much improved over others I have used.

Easy Cleaning

The hopper is a nice size, and it's so easy to clean ... no more toothpicks! The grip is also very nice. The only poor design is that the garlic has a tendency to find it's way out of the sides a bit -- but it's a small price to pay for a convenient clean and comfortable tool.

The best garlic press ever!

This is the only garlic press I have ever used that does not waste garlic! The way the handles are designed, you don't have to be King Kong to be able to crush the garlic. Fantastic!

great even mince... but not the easiest to clean compared to other presses I have had. Would still recommend it though.

This garlic press works and cleans like a charm! If only the handles were a little closer together, it would fit a small hand better.
